Photo of the moment

Comet Neowise. It's about 5 kilometres across, half water, half dust. It's currently at 111 million kilometres from Earth (that's roughly three quarters of the way to the Sun), moving at 231,000 km/h. The last time we could see a comet with the naked eye was in 1997 with comet Hale-Bopp. Next time Neowise will be back? In 6,800 years!
