Erawan's seven-tier waterfall

One of the most popular waterfalls in Thailand is located in Erawan National Park, ninety minutes away from Kanchanaburi (famous for the bridge on the river Kwai: its seven-tier waterfall stretches over two strenuous kilometres in the middle of a deep forest. In the Winter heat (it's about 35 degrees Celsius), how tempting and eventually refreshing it is to take a dive and feel the water crashing on my shoulders. The scene would be paradisiac save for the hordes of indecent and shrieking Russian* tourists... shrieking because fish were patiently waiting for feet to be dipped in the water to take an aggressive bite at dead skin. Truth be told, it was a bit startling, falsely worried that I also was that small and medium sized fish would actually eat me alive.

* they just happened to be Russian but don't worry, hordes of all nationalities end up annoying me :).
